Financial Assistance for Hospice Patients & Palliative Care Patients

Capital Caring is a not-for-profit provider of hospice and palliative care.

The last thing anyone wants to think about when trying to get a loved one the care they need is the cost of funding hospice or palliative care. You should be spending time with the people you care about most, not worrying about finances.

As a not-for-profit provider of hospice and palliative care, nothing is more important to Capital Caring Health than the health and comfort of our patients and their families. As such, we’re proud to say that our services are generally covered by Medicare and Medicaid. If you’re not sure if your loved one is covered by either of these two programs, reach out to us. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have about funding palliative care or hospice.

Private insurance providers generally follow the lead of these governmental payers, with small contractual co-payments as outlined in your plan. That said, understanding exactly what is and isn’t covered by private insurance plans isn’t always easy. If you need guidance, contact Capital Caring Health today. We can help you figure out if your loved one is covered.

Last but not least, if you have insufficient funds or no payer source, our Patient Care Fund may be for you. This fund exists to provide financial assistance to hospice patients and palliative care patients in need. Thanks to generous public donations, the Private Care Fund provides more than $3,000,000 in charity care to uninsured patients each year.
