The Benefits of Our Hospice Pet Therapy Program

There are many known benefits to incorporating pet therapy into hospice and palliative care, including social isolation, loneliness, and cognitive decline. However, individuals with advanced illnesses and their families may not be able to care for a live pet properly. That’s where our robotic companion pets come into play.

These pets are proven in numerous clinical studies to provide joy, comfort, and interactive companionship to patients and peace of mind to their families and caregivers. Veterans, patients with dementia, and children often need extra care during this difficult time. Through our Robotic Companion Pet Therapy Program, we hope to bring comfort and joy to our patients and their families.

The pets arrive ready to enjoy and interactively react to human touch and a voice like real pets. As we like to say, “No need to feed or walk or clean up after them – just enjoy their love!”
