A Different Kind of Treat for Valentine’s Day

Capital Caring Health Provides Joy For All Companion Pets for Children in Their Hospice Care

Falls Church, VA – February 14: Today, Capital Caring Health (CCH) is providing Companion Robotic Dogs and Cats to all terminally ill pediatric patients under their care. These robotic pets created by Ageless Innovations under the brand name Joy For All, respond just like real pets through sight, sound, and touch. And these robotic pets can be with each child around the clock – no allergy issues, just endless love.

Remarked Tom Koutsoumpas, Chief Executive Officer of CCH, “Our Mission to provide compassionate care in as many forms as possible to our pediatric patients and their families is a special calling for us. We have seen firsthand the smiles and comfort these pets bring to these children and their families.”

Steve Cone, Chief of Philanthropy added, “As the largest children’s hospice provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, we have a 2022 goal of providing a special companion robotic pet to each of 200+ children we will care for this year. To help us folks can go to capitalcaring.org/companionpets.”

Each child and their parents are given a choice from two different dog colorings and three feline color combinations.  The cats, like real cats, respond randomly whereas the dogs are much more well – dog like!
