Our expert medical staff provide coordinated, compassionate acute care to hospice patients, primarily in their home or wherever they call home. Sometimes, however, severe pain or other symptoms require an advanced level of care that is more effectively provided during a short stay in an inpatient hospice facility.
If your loved ones’ needs intensify, Capital Caring’s hospice team may recommend transferring him or her to the inpatient level of care. The goal of inpatient hospice care is to control severe pain and symptoms so that your loved one can return home to their family and familiar surroundings, if possible, and resume hospice care at home. Capital Caring’s medical staff provides world-class care at our four inpatient hospice facilities located throughout our service area in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
