About the Event
SHIFT THE DIALOGUE
On April 21, 2026, Chapters Health Foundation is pleased to host a National Conversation on Advanced Illness and End-of-Life Care. This landmark event, to be held at Capital One Hall in Tysons, VA, will bring together thought leaders, healthcare and business professionals, policymakers, philanthropists, and other interested members of the community to focus on one of the most urgent and compelling issues of our time: the need for compassionate and sustainable care for individuals and families facing advanced illness and end-of-life challenges.
Despite the profound impact these real-life issues have on all of us, the topic remains largely taboo – pushed to margins of public discourse, policy development, and philanthropic investment. Our goal is to bring the subject out of the shadows and to shift the cultural dialogue on advanced illness and end-of-life care.
This first National Conversation is taking place in affiliate Capital Caring Health’s service area as the organization approaches its 50th year of chronic illness care for the communities it serves in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
The National Conversation will be moderated by Andrew Molosky, President and CEO of Chapters Health System, and will feature distinguished voices sharing their knowledge and insights during an important panel discussion
